DUBAI—Hilton Worldwide, along with Saudi Egyptian Real Estate Development, is introducing the company’s sixth property in Cairo—the Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi.
This is the first Egyptian hotel to be owned by both the Egyptian and Saudi governments.
The 257-room hotel, which is forecast to open early 2016, will boast views of the legendary River Nile. It will feature a business center, a 400-sq.-m. function room, two boardrooms and three meeting rooms. Leisure facilities will include a health club and spa, an outdoor swimming pool, two restaurants, including specialty dining, a lobby lounge and an executive lounge.
Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi joins a property pipeline that includes the 635-room Hilton Heliopolis; the 660-room Hilton Makadi Resort; the 390-room Hilton Giza Pyramids and for Egypt’s second city of Alexandria, the 158-room Hilton Alexandria Corniche and the 195-room Hilton King’s Ranch Resort.
