MANHASSET, NY— Hilton Hotels Corp. has been recognized by InternetWeek as the 2001 E-Business of the Year, based on the results of the magazine’s second annual InternetWeek 100 survey. The survey is based on a performance-focused questionnaire of major U.S. companies, which was conducted in February and March. Hilton was named because of the increased volume of online business booked through its brand websites, which totaled more than $300 million last year.
