NEW YORK—The 192-room Hilton Garden Inn Queens/JFK Airport, owned and managed by Hersha, has completed a $3-million renovation to its lobby and social spaces.
The property now features elements of Project Grow, a brand revitalization initiative that includes upgrades to the property’s communal spaces such as the lobby and guest areas. Project Grow has enhanced the Garden Pavilion lobby to be a more open and flexible space.
“Our guests use the Pavilion for a variety of functions. They can eat in the restaurant, work in the business center, socialize at the bar and relax in the lounge,” stated Arnold Tamasar, general manager, Hilton Garden Inn Queens/ JFK Airport. “The goal is to encourage the merging of functions in a less compartmentalized manner.”
Situated less than five minutes to JFK Airport, the hotel provides 24-hour complimentary shuttle service. Other hotel amenities include complimentary WiFi Internet access in guestrooms and public spaces; 24-hour business center featuring Print Spot remote printing which allows wireless printing from any laptop or smart phone; a fitness center, as well an indoor/outdoor swimming pool. The Garden Grille and Bar will also service cocktails, dinner and evening room service. The Pavilion Pantry is open 24-hours and features a complete selection of snacks, fresh and frozen entrees.
