LOS ANGELES Hilton Hotels Corp. has expanded its room surcharge for offsetting higher energy costs in California to at least eight other states. In the last two weeks, Hilton has extended the $3 per night surcharge to its hotels in Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, New York City, Oklahoma, Texas, Washington and Washington, D.C.
