MCLEAN, VA—Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement for a 260-room, new-build Hilton hotel in the Santa Fe area of Mexico City, Mexico.
The hotel will form part of Samara, a mixed-use complex featuring more than 3.8 million sq. ft. of space combining corporate offices, a shopping center and the Hilton Santa Fe Mexico City.
Currently under construction, the hotel is expected to open in March 2014.
Designed by Diametro Arquitectos, the hotel fuses the contrasting elements of a crystal building with open, manicured gardens, according to the company. The interior will be designed by HBA / Hirsch Bedner Associates in San Francisco, and features a lobby with double height ceilings, rich materials and natural light, as well as access to a coffee bar, lounge and signature restaurant.
The hotel will offer more than 8,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space including a mezzanine level ballroom designed with warm textured wood feature walls and contemporary chandeliers.
The property also features a business center, a rooftop pool, bar and fitness center.
