AUSTIN, TX—Hilton Austin completed a $21-million upgrade to the hotel’s 800 guestrooms, as well as the suites and executive lounge. Dallas-based Looney & Associates provided interior design for the changes.

The makeover also includes all new furnishings, soft goods, accessories and artwork in each of the hotel’s guestrooms and executive accommodations. The new look reflects Austin’s unique collection of cultures and styles, as well as its unique mix of venues geared to business and leisure travelers, according to the brand. Each room and suite offers a modern mix of elements such as a variety of textures, along with a tonal color palette with vibrant accents.

These improvements come on the heels of an extensive refurbishment of the hotel’s eighth-floor pool deck in spring 2013. Changes include a new pool with cabanas, a resurfaced deck and the addition of the full service Skyline Pool Bar accented by new slate, wooden flooring and colorful Moroccan tile. The spacious deck offers a view of the Austin skyline.

Hilton Austin is centrally located in the heart of downtown adjacent to the Austin Convention Center and surrounded by the cities eclectic collection of entertainment, dining and recreational options.
