BEVERLY HILLS, CA— All guestrooms in Hilton Garden Inn hotels will provide complimentary high-speed Internet access by year-end 2003. As reported previously by HOTEL BUSINESS®, the service already is offered in 60 of the 156 Hilton Garden Inn hotels currently open, and by the end of the 2003 will be provided in a total of more than 200 hotels (some currently planned or under construction) throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Hilton Garden Inn executives hope the high-speed internet access will help make the brand more appealing to both leisure and business travelers. The hotels already provide a range of business-oriented features, including electrical outlets at desk height, a desk with a pull-out shelf for laptops, complimentary use of a 24-hour business center, and two telephones equipped with two lines, voice mail and data ports.
