LIHUE, KUAUI, HI— The Kuaui Marriott Resort & Beach Clubs Executive Chef Guy Higa is giving guests a taste of the propertys island cuisine via new cooking demonstrations and “Chefs Tables.” Each Monday and Tuesday from 4-5 p.m., Kukuis restaurant features a free cooking demo with one of its top chefs. Demos highlight the preparation of local fish which are offered as the restaurants dinner specials. Samplings and wine pairings are also served to those in attendance. On Wednesdays, guests can take advantage of the Chefs Tables located in four gazebos overlooking Kalapaki Bay. The exclusive, $45, five-course dinners and wine pairings served here are the creation of island-born Higa.
