WASHINGTON, DC— National Trust Historic Hotels of America, a membership marketing association with 185 members, has signed an agreement with Newton, MA-based HubX to provide central reservations services effective June 1. This includes Internet distribution services, private-label voice and reservations through the global distribution systems; HHA has acquired the GDS code “HE.” In addition, Shirley Talbert has been hired as director of marketing distribution, effective April 24, to oversee HHAs reservation system, encourage member hotel participation and develop retail products and specials. She is the organizations first director of marketing distribution.
