HERSHEY, PA— Bill Liedholm has been named the new general manager of the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center located here. Liedholm, whose appointment is effective today, will oversee the property which has 665 guestrooms and more than 100,000 square feet of meeting space. Previously director of finance for Hershey Resorts and Commercial Group, Liedholm joined Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Co. in 1997. The Hershey Lodge and Convention Center recently announced plans to launch a $5 million renovation program which includes the refurbishment of it guestrooms over the next several years. The property is a component of Hershey Resorts.
