HARRISBURG, PA— Hersha Hospitality Trust has entered into a definitive contract agreement to purchase a 69-room Mainstay Suites and an 87-room Sleep Inn— both located in King of Prussia, PA, one of Philadelphia’s strongest suburban office, tourist, and retail markets. The acquisition will be retroactively effective as of June 1, 2001. The hotels are one of the first dual branded hotels within the Choice Hotels International franchise system. These hotels share a common lobby, front desk and other hotel facilities.
