Hersha Appoints 3 Board Members

HARRISBURG, PA— Michael Leven, chairman/CEO of USFS, Donald Landry, president/vice chairman/CEO of Sunburst Hospitality and William Lehr, Jr., svp/corporate secretary/treasurer of Hershey Foods Corp., have been elected effective June 1, 2001 to the board of trustees of Hersha Hospitality Trust. “Each of these three individuals is very familiar with the types of properties we own and each of them is noted for achieving an ambitious pace of growth at any organization they associate themselves with,” Hasu Shah, chairman/CEO of Hersha said. “Now their expertise and energy will help guide our REIT, so we’re certainly very excited about what this will mean for our continued progress and profitability.”
