ROCKVILLE, MD— HEI Hospitality has signed on with Avendra, which will now provide procurement services for the firm. HEI Hospitality is the owner and operator of Merritt Hospitality. As a result of the deal, Merritt will be utilizing most of Avendra’s purchasing programs, including food & beverage, rooms operations, engineering, administrative, professional & financial services, spa supplies & equipment and technology & telecommunications. Once the entire agreement is fully implemented, it should add more than $20 million worth of customer expenditures to Avendra.
