BELLEVUE, WA—Industry and community leaders gathered at the Hampton Inn & Suites Bellevue Downtown-Seattle on Dec. 11, for an event celebrating the grand opening of Hampton Hotels’ 2,000th hotel.
On Hampton’s growing presence, Phil Cordell, global head, focused service and Hampton brand management, Hilton Worldwide, stated, “This has been a momentous year for the Hampton brand, from the signing of an exclusive agreement to expand the brand into China, with the first hotel expected to open by the end of 2015; the 25th anniversary of the 100% guarantee; and the 30-year anniversary of the brand altogether. We’re pleased to end the year with a huge growth story for Hampton–2,000 hotels and counting.”

The celebration included a finale in which acrobatic dancers, suspended and scaling down from the building, performed a choreographed dance created just for the celebration.
