CHICAGO—American Hotel Register Company, an international supplier to the hotel industry, has further expanded into the luxury market with a collection of upscale products and services specifically tailored for high-end hotels and resorts. The announcement was made during the company’s Global Hospitality Expo held here.
Backed by American Hotel Register’s hospitality expertise and global supply chain infrastructure, the new venture will strive to cater to the refined tastes of luxury properties across the world, according to the company.
“We are very excited to introduce our new product offering to the broader luxury market,” said Angela Korompilas, president and CEO, American Hotel Register Company. “By intimately understanding the distinct needs of the luxury hotels we already serve, we have developed a personalized approach to product development, sourcing and selection to meet the growing needs of the greater luxury market.”
Expanding into the growing luxury segment of hospitality products, American Hotel Register will supply high-end offerings such as bathroom accessories, bedding linens, mattresses and other in-room accessories through brands such as Sferra, Frette, Christian Lacroix, Bose, Waterman and Lenox.
“These are luxury brands that guests would appreciate finding in their guestrooms,” said Helen Lee, VP, merchandising, American Hotel Register, before more than 900 attendees during the conference. “What really denotes a luxury property is customization and enveloping guests with their brand at every single touchpoint. We can deliver on that level of customization.”
The company, based in Vernon Hills, IL, will provide in-house embroidery capabilities for products such as robes and slippers, while also providing a multitude of selections such as clothing hangars with various shapes, colors and finishes.
