HOUSTON—Hospitality Lodging Systems (HLS) has opened a newly constructed 42-room Haven Inn & Suites here. The two-floor, exterior-corridor property is located eight miles from downtown and uses distinctive neon lighting as part of the exterior design.
The Haven Inn brand, introduced in December 2014, currently has six hotels open. Two additional Haven properties are under development and scheduled to go into operation within 90 days—one a new-construction hotel in metro Houston and one a conversion in metro Atlanta.
“A dependable hotel experience at affordable prices—that’s the very simple, value-added appeal we have for both travelers and owners,” said Doug Collins, chairman and CEO of HLS.
Atlanta-based HLS operates 44 hotels under its three brands—Budgetel Inns & Suites; AmeriVu Inn & Suites; and Haven Inns & Suites.
