Hard Rock Debuts Brandwide In-Room DJ Experience

ORLANDO, FL—Hard Rock International is launching the brandwide debut of mix., an in-room DJ experience and the latest component of Hard Rock’s global music amenity program, “The Sound of Your Stay” available at all 17 hotels and casinos.

Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos now offers guests the chance to turn a hotel room into a mega club with complementary high quality, professional equipment delivered in-room.

“Music is the soul of the Hard Rock brand and it is what sets Hard Rock Hotels apart as a travel destination and truly unbeatable experience,” stated Blake Smith, global director of music and marketing for Hard Rock Hotels & Casino. “As Hard Rock celebrates groundbreaking trends and the freedom of creative exploration, amenities like mix. are a testament to the brand’s passion for both innovation and ingenuity.”

With the brand wide launch of mix., “The Sound of Your Stay” offers Hard Rock guests three components: tracks., where guests receive an exclusive code to download a personal playlist, curated by music pros and celebrities for a soundtrack to the hotel experience; picks., offering guests a menu of 20 Fender guitars for an in-room jam session complete with amps and Nixon headphones; and mix., where guests match beats and remix with the in-room delivery of a Traktor Kontrol Z1 mixer, an iPad loaded with digital mixing software and high-end headphones. 

To get the program, guests call the front desk for in-room delivery.

The brand hosted “Hard Rock Mix Up” on November 22, celebrating the official launch of mix. at the newly opened Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs with special guests Tommy Lee & DJ Aero taking center stage. The event offered a behind-the-scenes look at Hard Rock’s newest property and the mix. amenity program, along with the opportunity to interact and receive mixing lessons from the two DJs.
