MINNEAPOLIS, MN— Hanover Hotels International has completed the centralized deployment of the IDeaS Revenue Optimization Solution for 15 properties, accounting for more than 1,750 guestrooms. IDeaS centralizes decisions into a single location, enabling Hanover to realize significant financial and operational benefits through automated rate, overbooking and length-of-stay controls. This implementation furnishes Hanover with key technology solutions that have heretofore been accessible exclusively to larger hotel groups. To deploy this centralized solution, IDeaS worked with SoftBrands to develop an interface between IDeaS revenue optimization solution and the Portfolio CRS/PMS. Data from the CRS/PMS is automatically and seamlessly transferred to and from IDeaS for optimization. This technology is an advancement over recommendation-based or decision support approaches that require a validation stage and manual approval before recommendations are sent from the revenue management system to the PMS. It also automatically forecasts group demand and group wash by group market segment, eliminating the manual input of budget or forecast data into the PMS/CRS.
