MEMPHIS— Hampton, the national brand of more than 1,200 mid-priced Hampton Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites hotels, announced it opened 10 Hampton Inn hotels in March 2003, representing 1,012 new rooms. Included are the openings of the brands 12th and 13th properties in Canada— its second in Toronto and fourth in British Columbia. The openings include six Hampton Inn hotels (including one conversion property in Georgia) and four Hampton Inn & Suites hotels, bringing the brands total number of hotels to 1,222 hotels in the Hampton system.
