Hampton Opened Half-Dozen Properties In April, May

MEMPHIS, TN— Hampton opened six hotels, including one conversion, in April and May representing 488 rooms added to its system. The openings include four Hampton Inn hotels and two Hampton Inn & Suites hotels. “The brand continues to grow west of the Mississippi by opening two hotels last month in Texas and Montana,” said Phil Cordell, svp/Hampton brand management. ‘Though the brand continues to see its strongest interest in its Hampton Inn & Suites product, Hampton is also growing its presence through conversions, as seen in our new Sandusky, OH, hotel.” Hampton hotels opened are in Selma, AL (60 rooms); Great Falls, MT (98 rooms); Sandusky/Central, OH (50 rooms); and Coventry, RI (124 rooms). Hampton Inn & Suites Hotels opened are in San Marcos, TX (90 rooms); and Hazard, KY (66 rooms).
