MEMPHIS, TN— More than 100 properties, their owners and management were cited as top performing hotels by mid-price Hampton Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites hotels from among more than 1,100 brand properties in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Hampton awarded its first place Pride Award (formerly known as the Pinnacle Award) to the 116-room Hampton Inn-Palm Beach Gardens, FL., for the second year in a row. Open since 1999, the hotel, owned by Palm Beach Gardens Hospitality, Ltd., received the highest ranking among all hotels in the Hampton system for guest satisfaction measured through customer feedback surveys, as well as product quality and service scores measured quarterly by the company. Second- and third-place Hampton Inn hotel Pride Awards went to the Hampton Inn, Prescott, AZ., owned by Azmo, Inc., and the Hampton Inn, Jonesville/Elkin, NC., owned by Riverview Enterprises, Inc., respectively. The Hampton Inn & Suites, Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach, NC, owned by Summit Hospitality Group, Ltd., also was recognized as the first place Pride Award winner in the Hampton Inn & Suites category, which now totals more than 100 hotels in the system. “The competition to be in Hamptons elite group of Pride Award winners grows stronger each year as Hampton continues to expand its name, opening more than 75 hotels each year, said Phil Cordell, svp/brand management, Hampton Inn. “These hotels have set themselves apart from their competitors by implementing strategies that result in extremely high guest satisfaction levels for their hotel.
