Habitat Introduces Euro-Friendly Rates

NEW YORK Habitat Hotel introduced a fixed room rate of 90 Euros for all of 2001 to combat the fluctuations of international currency. As a result of a devalued Euro, room rates have risen for Europeans, the hotel s core clientele. Combined with the stable airfares, we think our program makes travel to the U.S. very compelling for Europeans, even given weakness of the Euro, said David Bernstein, director of hotels at Citylife Hotel Group, which owns and operates Habitat.
