WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV—The Greenbrier Resort, which was recently rescued from bankruptcy by new owner Jim Justice, will now add a 50,000-square-foot casino and mezzanine entertainment venue here.
C2 Limited Design Associates has been named the interior designer for the $25-million casino and mezzanine project that is expected to be complete by April 1, 2010. The addition’s architect is Shope Reno Wharton.
The mezzanine venue will feature coffee, wine and sushi bars, a full-service restaurant and 10 retail shops. A new guest registration lobby also will be built along with a temporary gaming venue within a lounge in the resort’s Virginia Wing. The temporary venue is expected to open in September.
