ATLANTA, GA— Day Hospitality Group has re-opened its five-year-old Fairfield Inn property here as a Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott- Buckhead. Owned and operated by Atlanta-based Day Hospitality Group, the five-story hotel recently opened 12 suites as it officially converted to the newest brand in the Marriott family of hotels. Management also renovated space near the lobby to create both a business center and a fitness center. Meanwhile, in what was called a first for the Fairfield brand nationwide, wireless Internet access has been made available in all guestrooms and throughout the hotel’s public areas. The hotel also features an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa, facsimile and copy service, free local phone calls and expanded 63-channel cable TV, a complimentary continental breakfast is available each morning in the breakfast room off the lobby, and the public areas feature living-room ambiance complete with wingback chairs, a dual-sided fireplace and fresh-baked cookies daily.
