TOKYO— The Grand Hyatt Tokyo is slated to open in the new Roppongi Hills complex here on April 25. The 390-room hotel is part of the $4 billion cultural, entertainment, residential and business center in Tokyo’s Minato-ku district, which is already home to art galleries, boutiques, restaurants and embassies. Each guestroom at the new hotel will feature a large flat-screen television; a work desk with high-speed Internet access; voicemail; DVD/CD player; and spacious bathroom with its own 13-inch flat-screen television and separate shower, bath and dressing areas. The Grand Hyatt Tokyo will have 13 function rooms; a business center with 24-hour “technology concierge;” and a spa and fitness facility with a swimming pool, sauna, gymnasium, and massage and treatment rooms.
