BEIJING, CHINA— Hyatt International has opened its newest property in China, the 591-room Grand Hyatt Beijing. Located 40 minutes from the international airport, the property is situated on Chang An Ave., and is part of Oriental Plaza, the largest commercial complex in China. The property features advanced technology, including broadband television and an Olympic-size pool that showcases a virtual sky that presents different weather conditions during the day along with a sound system that pipes music underwater. There’s also close to 27,000 square feet of meeting and function space, with meeting rooms equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and high-speed Internet access. Hyatt also has properties in Hangzhou, Shanghai, Tianjin and Xian.
