SANTA MONICA, CA— The Fairmont Miramar Hotel here will reportedly go live Nov. 1 with the installation of the Internet version of GoConcierge.net. The system— described as being similar to a LAN version rolled out earlier— is said to be designed to alleviate staffing shortfalls for hotels charged with providing a consistent level of first-class customer service. Among other hotels (with varying levels of customer-service requirements) claimed to be in line to implement GoConcierge.net are: the Hilton San Jose; the Fairmont San Jose; the Doubletree Santa Monica; Holiday Inn – Woodland Hills; and the Chateau Marmont.
