NEW YORK— Franck Arnold, a career veteran of the Six Continents family of lodging properties, has been named hotel manager for the InterContinental The Barclay here. In his new position, Arnold will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the 686-room hotel situated in the heart of midtown Manhattan’s East Side. Most recently general manager of the Holiday Inn in Valencia, Spain (overseeing the opening of that hotel), Arnold’s experience also lists stints with the Castellana InterContinental in Madrid, the Brussels InterContinental, the Athenaeum InterContinental in Athens, InterContinental Hotels in London and the Le Grand InterContinental in Paris.
