GENEVA—According to the Global Hotel Alliance, an alliance of independent hotel brands around the globe, its members are exhibiting double-digit revenue growth along with significant cost reductions for their central reservation system. The alliance noted that with the help of Micros’ ORS and MyFidelio products, GHA has delivered an additional 40,000 room nights to its members in 2008 compared with 2007. Such an increase equates to an average revenue growth of more than 25%. Omni and JurysDoyle will be switching their CRS later this year and Marco Polo and Anantara will do so in early 2009, which will bring all 10 of GHA’s members onto the same CRS platform.
