JACKSONVILLE, FL— The Generation Companies LLC is developing a Staybridge Suites property here. Construction will begin this winter on the extended-stay hotel with an opening planned before the end of the year. The new 120-room Jacksonville property will offer three suite options: deluxe studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom/two-bath. All suites will feature fully-equipped kitchens; in-room DVD/CD players; and well-lit work stations with ergonomic seating, data ports, two-line speaker phones with voice mail, and free high-speed Internet access. The property will have a complimentary guest laundry and workout facilities, and offer complimentary daily breakfast buffet, a 24-hour convenience store and business services center. This is the second Staybridge Suites for Generation, a Research Triangle Park, NC-based real estate developer, asset manager and operator of extended-stay hotels. The first hotel is in Memphis. It is currently undergoing a $1.5-million refurbishment with targeted completion by late winter.
