Gaylord Opryland To Open In 2004

GRAPEVINE, TX— The Gaylord Opryland Texas Resort and Convention Center here is on track for an April 2004 grand opening, reports The Dallas Morning News. The $500 million development will sit on 150 acres at the tip of Grapevine Lake, and include 1,500 rooms and 400,000 square feet of convention space. The hotel will also feature a 50,000-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate up to 3,999. This property is the third Gaylord Opryland project in the country, following sites in Tennessee and Florida. SOURCE: The Dallas Morning News
