GRAPEVINE, TX— The Gaylord Opryland Texas Resort and Convention Center here is on track for an April 2004 grand opening, reports The Dallas Morning News. The $500 million development will sit on 150 acres at the tip of Grapevine Lake, and include 1,500 rooms and 400,000 square feet of convention space. The hotel will also feature a 50,000-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate up to 3,999.
