DOVER, NH— Gaylord Entertainment has selected Daylight Software’s Daylight “Enterprise” system to centralize the sales and catering functions for all its Gaylord Hotels properties. The multi-million-dollar project, to be completed in August , will enable Gaylord to sell in a unified and effective way to all its customers, according to Daylight. Daylight “Enterprise” has already been used at Gaylord Hotels’ national sales office, Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, FL and in the pre-opening of Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, TX. In this latest project Daylight “Enterprise” will be installed at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center and Radisson Opryland Hotel, both located in Nashville, TN. When complete, all Gaylord Hotels sales and catering operations will be consolidated into one central system serving the entire company. According to Daylight, Gaylord will now be able to profile the needs of each customer in detail and match them with its convention properties throughout the country. Every Gaylord Hotels sales manager will be able to access and add to the data. Additionally, the production time for monthly sales reports will be considerably decreased, said Daylight.
