NEW YORK—Gansevoort Hotel Group has named Jean-Francois Tremblay as hotel manager of Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC, its flagship property.
In his new role, Tremblay will be responsible for all hotel operations, including staff management, recruitment and development, weekly payroll review, training, scheduling and preparation of annual budgets.
Tremblay has over 15 years of management experience, as well as prior experience with this hotel: he was part of the pre-operation team for the hotel in 2004.
Prior to this role, Tremblay served as hotel manager for Gansevoort Turks + Caicos where he joined the pre-opening team and led training and development of key management staff. He has also served as a concierge for The Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Waldorf Towers and as part of the pre-opening team for The Bryant Park Hotel.
