GALVESTON ISLAND, TX—The 42-room Harbor House hotel here is now scheduled to reopen on Feb. 1 following work to repair the damage the hotel suffered as a result of Hurricane Ike on Sept. 13, 2008. The hotel sustained minor flooding on its first floor check-in area as a result of the storm. The hotel’s elevator service will eventually be reinstated in mid-April.
