CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA— The Rivanna River Resort, which is under development near Charlottesville, VA, will be a part of the Lexington Collection when it premiers in late 2008. The 64-suite resort, which is being developed by Phil Carrow, will be located atop a hill in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and feature a spa, a four-star restaurant, a fitness center, a 5,000-square-foot conference center, a tennis center, an indoor pool and two unique schools focusing on the visual arts and healthy lifestyle nutrition teachings. The resort will also make available for guests horseback riding, hiking and cycling. Each of the resort’s suites will feature granite countertops, a full-height refrigerator, a microwave oven, a two-burner stove, high-speed wireless Internet access, two plasma televisions and 300-thread-count bedding. Within the next five years, another 24 suites will be added to the property.
