FT. LAUDERDALE, FL— Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has opened a St. Regis Resort & Residences here. The resort includes a 166-room hotel, 28 private residences, and 34 hotel condominiums. The white, 24-story, curvilinear building, designed by the Miami-based architectural firm Arquitectonica, features a 29,000-square-foot tropical pool deck space with a zero-entry pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The firm of Hirsch-Bedner designed the interiors.
