RICHFIELD, CT— In response to the growing threats of fraud and cyber-crime against the hospitality industry, White-Collar Crime 101 LLC has introduced an on-line fraud awareness training course for hospitality managers and line employees. Called “FraudAware/Hospitality,” the 70-minute course is designed to meet the growing demand from hospitality company security and financial managers for a cost-effective training tool to equip employees with the knowledge to detect, prevent and report embezzlement, credit card scams, acceptance of counterfeit checks, Internet fraud and other financial crimes against hospitality properties. In designing and producing FraudAware/Hospitality, White-Collar Crime 101 partnered with Wilson Learning & McCourt Associates, which specializes in E-learning technology. The result is a self-paced and interactive program delivering “how-to” knowledge for detecting and reporting hotel, restaurant and bar scams of all kinds.
