Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North to Undergo Renovations

SCOTTSDALE, AZ—Beginning in July 2014, Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North will undergo a $750,000 enhancement, set for completion in early Fall.

The enhancement includes updated rugs, upholstery, lamps, sleeper sofas and the Signature Sleep by Four Seasons bed.

“We are fortunate that our ownership group, Walton Street Capitol, L.L.C., has continued to allocate significant capital investments to ensure the property is position as a leader in the Southwest in regard to product freshness, innovation and service,” stated regional VP and GM Vince Parrotta. “Additionally, we are thrilled to bring the new customized Four Seasons bed to our Scottsdale property, offering guests the choice of comfort with interchangeable bed toppers.”

Dallas-based design firm Paul Duesing Partners will lead the enhancement effort. The design will include bold, vibrant colors, according to the company, while still keeping with the palette of the desert in bloom. The design will also feature residential-style rugs, upholstery and lamps.

Differentiating factors will set the suites apart, including outdoor patios highlighted by wood-burning kiva fireplaces or chimneas; private outdoor plunge pools, which can be heated to the temperatures guests want; and outdoor garden showers that are accessible through the master bathroom shower.

Additionally, suites feature high-powered telescopes for stargazing and the turndown amenity is a constellation chart that is calibrated to the Arizona sky. The property’s three luxury two-bedroom suites and three-bedroom Pinnacle Suite provide butler’s kitchen areas and tables.

The new customized Four Seasons bed is available in firm, classic or plush mattress with interchangeable bed toppers. The bed was made in collaboration with Simmons and features a “Gel Touch Foam Center” to absorb extra heat and keep guests at a comfortable temperature zone, according to the company. Beds, duvet covers, pillows and linens are available for purchase.

The hotel also features Native American-inspired spa treatments and adobe-style architecture. The art and cuisine help to capture a sense of place in the Arizona Sonoran Desert, according to the company.
