KA ‘UPULEHU-KONA, HAWAII—James Kostecky was appointed resort manager of the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. As resort manager, Kostecky will be in charge of day-to-day operations of the 243-room AAA Five Diamond resort. He replaces Dean Hyry, who was recently promoted to resort manager for the Four Seasons Aviara Residence Club in North San Diego. Kostecky brings more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. He was most recently the general manager of the Tides, a 45-room AAA Four Diamond hotel in South Beach, Miami. Before that he served as the assistant general manager of the Peaks Resort & Golden Door Spa in Telluride, CO.
