LOS ANGELES HOTEL BUSINESS. has learned that Maritz, Wolff & Co., is building a luxury condominium development adjacent to its Austin, TX Four Seasons hotel. The condominiums will be called The Residence at the Four Seasons, and will be attached to the hotel “in some fashion,” according to Lew Wolff, chairman of Maritz, Wolff. Various services will be provided to condominium owners by the hotel.

Maritz, Wolff & Co. is also working on an $80 million, 270-room addition of the Fairmont San Jose in California. The new tower is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2002.
