HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA Fortis Properties Corp. reported that it will brand its hotel currently under construction here as a Four Points by Sheraton, under a franchise agreement with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. This will be the first Four Points by Sheraton property in Atlantic Canada.
The 178-room Four Points by Sheraton Halifax will include 18 suites, 1,500 square feet of meeting space, an exercise facility, and underground parking. The $15 million project is scheduled to open in September 2001. (3/7/01)
