STAMFORD, CT—Four Points by Sheraton, a brand by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., has made its debut in Newburgh, NY.
Four Points by Sheraton Newburgh—Stewart Airport is owned and operated by Jonathan S. Lifschutz, president and CEO of JSL Hotels & Great Palace Realty LLC. Following a multimillion-dollar conversion project of the former Comfort Inn, spearheaded by Jonathan S. Lifschutz, the property marks the first Starwood hotel in the Newburgh area.
“My goal was to bring an internationally recognized brand to Newburgh, offering a new level of service to the area,” said Jonathan Lifschutz. “I’ve seen a growing need and demand for strong brands like Four Points to offer a new level of design and sophistication to secondary markets. Four Points by Sheraton Newburgh will offer business and leisure travelers a differentiated hotel experience for their lodging needs.”
The hotel features 124 guestrooms, a new two-story open lobby, complete with a lobby bar and restaurant serving American cuisine. There’s an onsite gift shop, business center, meetings spaces and lobby library. Food and beverage services are available throughout all of the public spaces including the new outdoor fire pit that runs adjacent to the lobby entrance, providing guests with a relaxing and scenic Hudson Valley experience.
The exterior of the new Four Points includes a brand new stucco facade, LED site lighting and site landscaping throughout the facility and new parking lot with pavers accents by outdoor sitting areas. Other amenities include a courtyard, heated outdoor pool surrounding by seating and event space for large parties of 200 or more guests.
Located less than two miles from Stewart International Airport in New York’s scenic Hudson Valley, the new Four Points is accessible from I-84 and the New York State Thruway.
The hotel offers a state-of-the-art, fully equipped 24-hour fitness center and all the brand’s popular amenities, including free WiFi, complimentary bottled water in all guestrooms, and a wide selection of craft and imported beer as part of the Best Brews program located in the hotel new lobby bar and restaurant.
