Florida Hotel Exec Acquires Associated Luxury Hotels

ORLANDO, FL— Longtime Orlando hotel executive David Gabri has acquired Associated Luxury Hotels Inc., a membership association that does strategic marketing and sales for more than 70 hotels and resorts in 23 states, Bermuda and Puerto Rico. Although Associated Luxury is currently based in Washington, D.C., Gabri said he plans to open an Orlando office later this month and will continue to live and work in the Orlando area. Associated Luxury has been in business for 17 years. Gabri assumes the titles of president and CEO from the founder, John Metcalf, who will remain on board as chairman for two years to help guide the company during the transition.
