PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA—Fleetcor Technologies Inc., a global business payments company, has acquired Travelliance, an airline lodging program provider.

Travelliance has helped airlines manage their lodging needs for more than 30 years, serving distressed airline passengers, airline crews and airline employees. The addition of Travelliance, which processes approximately eight million room nights annually, will significantly increase Fleetcor’s room night volume, as well as the size of its hotel network, according to the company. The acquisition also extends its lodging solutions into new international markets.

“Travelliance’s solutions and hotel network offer an exciting opportunity to grow our lodging business on a global scale,” said Ron Clarke, chairman/CEO, Fleetcor. “Their focus on the airline industry is a great complement to our broader corporate travel emphasis.”

Ted Scislowski, CEO, Travelliance, added, “We are thrilled to join the Fleetcor team. With Fleetcor’s scale and resources, Travelliance can provide the full extent of services beyond our client’s expectations. As a technology leader in the industry, we can now further our technology innovations in ways previously unimaginable in the travel industry.”

Holland & Knight provided legal counsel to Fleetcor. Gilbert Law provided legal counsel to Travelliance.
