Las Vegas—Caesars Entertainment has revealed plans for a $90-million renovation of 1,270 rooms at Flamingo Las Vegas. Renovations will begin in late August, with first guests arrival in November. Final completion is expected in the second quarter of 2018.
Designer ForrestPerkins will fully redesign the rooms to be contemporary and retro-chic with accents that celebrate the Flamingo’s history—with gold and bright pops of flamingo pink in keeping with the brand.
The Flamingo Las Vegas celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2016. It has more than 3,500 guestrooms and suites. In the same year, Caesars Entertainment renovated more than 4,800 rooms at four of its Las Vegas properties, including Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and Harrah’s Las Vegas.
At the end of 2017, more than 50% of rooms at Caesars properties will have been upgraded since 2014.
