CHICAGO— The Fitzpatrick Chicago, a four-star boutique hotel located on Chicagos Magnificent Mile, is set to open here March 12. The newly restored property— owned by The Fitzpatrick Hotel Group— features a penthouse floor, 100 suites and 40 executive rooms. The hotels locale will help it capture both the business and leisure traveler. “With newly renovated suites and executive rooms, the Fitzpatrick Chicago, the only Irish-owned and -operated hotel in Chicago, offers guests a choice of accommodations designed for comfort as well as work, noted John Fitzpatrick, president/CEO of the group, which also owns the Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel— its first U.S. property— and the Fitzpatrick Grand Central, both located in New York City. Each guestroom has the Fitzpatrick trademark, a canopy bed. Each room also offers Internet access, a fax machine, dataport for laptop computers and a two-line, cordless phone with personalized voicemail.
