ATLANTA Sun Development and US Franchise Systems, parent company for the Hawthorn hotel chain, opened Louisianas first Hawthorn Suites Ltd. in Baton Rouge. The five-story, 111-suite hotel is located near Louisiana State University and the citys Centroplex, and marks Sun Development s fourth Hawthorn property: the company currently has Hawthorn developments in Hattiesburg, MS; Little Rock, AK; and Indianapolis.
