DALLAS— The fifth Hotel Indigo is set to premier here this week. The hotel is the product of a conversion from what had been the Holiday Inn Dallas-Aristocrat. The 14-story, 170-room property is owned by Bijoy LLC and managed by Sandhu Management & Investments, LLC. The hotel was originally constructed in 1925 by Conrad Hilton and was the first to bear his name. Located at 1933 Main St., the hotel is a nationally registered landmark. It features oversized lobby chairs; guestrooms with high-speed Internet access, plush bedding, hardwood-style flooring and spa-style showers; a “phitness” studio; wireless high-speed Internet access in all public spaces; and 3,300 sf of meeting and function space. The hotel also offers the bistro-style restaurant, Golden Bean, and the Phi Bar. The Hotel Indigo Dallas is the second of three Hotel Indigos in Texas; one is already opened in Houston and a San Antonio property is in development. Twenty Hotel Indigos are in the pipeline. Future sites will include Ottawa, Canada; Scottsdale, AZ; Nashville, TN; Knoxville, TN; Columbus, IN; and Sarasota, FL.
