NEW YORK— FelCor Lodging Trust has signed a long-term contract extension with LodgeNet Entertainment Corp., which extends the relationship into 2010. LodgeNet will install its latest-generation interactive digital system, delivering on-demand digital movies, digital music and music videos, Nintendo video games, and other interactive television services to the 20,000 FelCor rooms currently under contract with LodgeNet. Many of these hotels will also receive or continue receiving TV Internet and/or cable programming services. FelCor-owned hotels that are covered by the extension Embassy Suites, Doubletree, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Sheraton. The agreement also provides FelCor the opportunity to add other owned hotels to LodgeNets portfolio as their existing contracts expire. This additional group of hotels currently represents 30,000 rooms, extending the total potential impact of the agreement to approximately 50,000 rooms throughout the United States and Canada.
