DUBAI—Fairmont Hotels & Resorts debuted Fairmont The Palm here on the Palm Jumeirah, the world’s largest man-made island shaped in the form of a palm tree.
The property is owned by international residential and resort developer IFA Hotels & Resorts. The hotel is located near key leisure areas and business districts, as well as the Burj Khalifa, the tallest freestanding building and The Dubai Mall, the largest retail development.
Fairmont The Palm features 381 guestrooms and suites, including two presidential suites, meeting space, four swimming pools, a private beach club, children’s activity center, as well as a variety of dining facilities with sea, garden or pool views, a Fairmont Gold product and a Willow Stream Spa.
The resort also houses the newest addition to the brand’s private residence club offering, Fairmont Heritage Place, The Palm, Dubai, featuring 10 one- and two-bedroom residences.
Design firm DSA Architects International developed the project, using a contemporary design with Arabic influences, incorporating the natural elements of sun, sea and sand, with a color palette of beige, ecru and tan and natural building materials of granite and marble.
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has more than 65 luxury properties around the world, including Shanghai’s Fairmont Peace Hotel, The Plaza in New York and Makkah Clock Royal Tower in Saudi Arabia.
